History

1956: Born in Christchurch, NZ

1970: Family moved to Australia, also lived two years in Melbourne studying interior design and decoration

1976: Moved back to N.Z. Spend time in Australia regularly ever since

1983-1990: Worked predominantly with clay. Began drawing again towards the end of this period

1990: Attended drawing classes at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

1995-1996: Owned and managed the Croft-Picot Gallery, Nelson, specialising in contemporary art

2000: Started teaching children’s after-school art classes
2005: Taught gifted Middle and Upper school students at St Joseph's School, Nelson

Qualifications & Memberships

2005: Committee Member of the Nelson Suter Art Society (NSAS)

2003-4: President of the NSAS

2002: Committee Member of the NSAS

1994: Completed Bursary Painting and Sculpture, gaining the Nelson College for Girls Sculpture Award

1976: Membership to the British Institute of Interior Design

1974-1975: Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration, Melbourne College of Decoration
